The Account Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of prospective and existing end user accounts; hospitals and IDN’s (Integrated Delivery Networks), in order to generate sales revenue and ensure a productive and profitable business relationship. Experience selling clinical and/or operational systems (technology) into IDNs and Health Systems at a senior level (CXO, VP, etc.) is required.Responsibilities:Introduce InterSystems products and services to health systems and builds a pipeline of new activityPlans sales strategy and drives new business revenues with healthcare organizations Acts as the principal liaison between InterSystems and end user accounts; develops and enhances business relationship by providing high levels of service and by encouraging contact with accounts at various organizational levels; develops and continuously updates account profilesUtilizes internal resources to achieve sales objectivesProvides feedback from customers regarding product performance; provides input to product development and support services for product fixes and enhancementGenerate new business revenues as well as help protect and grow existing customer baseQualifications:Healthcare domain knowledge, especially around key topics and trends impacting IDNs/Health Systems, including but not limited to payment reform, HIE/interoperability, population health management, etc. 8+ years track record of technology sales successDemonstrated experience selling software solutions into larger IDNs/health systemsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsPrior experience working in a healthcare information technology or hospital settingEducation and Training:Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experienceIn addition, this position may be eligible for sales incentives based on certain sales goals, achievements, and results.
