Information Technology Program participants have the opportunity to work in different functions, including:\n\nBusiness analyst:\n\nPerform functions on projects such as scope and requirement documentation, test case development, and user acceptance testing\nSupport the businesses’ day-to-day activities and system usage / entitlement\nAct as a liaison between the businesses and IT\nUnderstand business processes and partnering on system and process changes\n\nApplication developer:\n\nSupport the design, construction and implementation phases of a system and or upgrade project\nApply skills to help solve problems for various business partners: Equipment automation and overall factory management,\nIC and software design engineers, and Finance and Operations / Marketing / Supply Chain\nUse web development, programming (C, C++, JAVA, PERL, HTML, SQL) and scripting skills in Unix or Windows environment and potentially using Oracle or similar database system in the backend.\n\nSystems admin / Security admin / Network specialist / Mainframe specialist:\n\nAdminister client/server databases (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft) or support Enterprise UNIX environments (patch / version management)\nDevelop and execute security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems.\nManage and maintain a large install base of computers running various operating system (ie.
