Compensation$43.27 per hourSummaryThe Payroll Manager is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of payroll operations across the organization. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant processing of employee compensation, taxes, and related reporting. The Payroll Manager operates as a hands-on subject matter expert, collaborating cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and external vendors to maintain payroll integrity and compliance.This position is full-time, Monday – Friday, in Portland Office.DutiesManage full-cycle payroll processing for all employees (salary, hourly, bonuses, commissions, and off-cycle payments) using ADP Workforce Now.Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and variance analysis, accruals and forecasting Manage payroll records, including earnings, deductions, garnishments, and benefitsMaintain knowledge of payroll related federal and state regulations including minimum wage, FLSA criteria, meal and rest breaks, etc.Review timesheets and notify appropriate parties of missing time or errorsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Oversee payroll tax filings, payments, and reporting requirements Stay current on legislative changes impacting payroll Manage year-end processes (W-2s, 1099s, audits)Complete verification of employment requests Process New Hires, Terminations and track and file employee change requests Act as primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries. Resolve employee payroll discrepancies promptly and professionally Serve as system administrator for payroll platform Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Maintain internal controls and documentation of payroll procedures Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of ADP Workforce Now payroll processing experienceKnowledge of Oregon, California, Washington and Idaho payroll-related law highly preferred Thorough knowledge of payroll-related federal lawHR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)Proficiency in Office SuiteAbility to multi-task and be self-motivatedMust be organized and have excellent problem-solving skillsBenefitsCambridge Real Estate Services offers competitive wages, incentive bonuses, medical with an annual HSA employer-contribution to employees’ accounts of $4,400, dental, vision, and life insurance, long-term disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, floating holidays, tuition reimbursement, company events, 401k plan with a 100% match up to a 10% contribution.
