What are we looking for?\nDescription:\n\nDesign and support data networks for WSI data centers, corporate facilities, retail stores, distribution centers, call centers, and eCommerce environment. Design, develop, implement, and support network solutions for IT projects.\n\nSpecific Responsibilities\n\nParticipates and documents systems requirements and authors solution designs\nReviews and provides feedback for system design solutions that will impact their area\nParticipates in establishing strategies and standards\nCreates and manages system capacity plans\nLeads, or participates, in installation and configuration activities\nDevelops and maintains procedures and system documentation\nPerforms systems resource optimization activities\nLeads, or participates, in major updates supporting new requirements and maintaining systems currency\nLeads or participates in implementation of resources management and monitoring methods, tools and threshold\nWorks on many phases of a project or entire projects of moderate complexity\nOversees monitoring, system access and resource administration\nParticipates in systems management, and Security Compliance activities\nSupports resolution of production incidents\nRoutinely monitors all systems within their domain\nAccountable for team dependencies and critical paths\nProvides work breakdown planning and estimation\nReviews and evaluates the team’s estimates\nTheir work and others they may oversee within their domain\nIdentifies feature and module dependencies\nProposes mitigation plans for identified risks and problems\nAccountable for team dependencies and critical paths\nAnticipates risks and provides contingency solutions and timelines\nCollects useful metrics and targets for domain\nSuggests process improvements and best practices\nMeasurably improves processes and best practices to achieve goals\nMay research new technologies and methods, collaborating on solutions for multiple teams and features\nInnovates measurable improvements\nStabilizes emerging technologies\nInteracts with business users, and/or functional peer group and managers\nWorks with contract resources, providing guidance and assessing the quality of work\nAssess the quality of work and effectiveness of the agreement with contract resource arrangement\nSphere of influence is team\nActively shares knowledge (technical and professional) through shared resources and informal teachings\nContributes and enforces best practices\nInspires teamwork and guides the team\nAssists in career development plans for engineers\nMentors, cross trains co-workers within area of expertise\nImproves others productivity\nParticipates in staff recruiting\nSelf directing and provides direction for others\nAchieves team consent and buy-in\n\nCompensation, Benefits and Duration\nMinimum Compensation: USD 38,000\nMaximum Compensation: USD 133,000\nCompensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate.
