Job Description: Based in Bristol, PA, the individual in this position supplies superior service to customers and staff in aiding with quote creation, order processing, customer service, and related projects. Responsibilities include: § Interact with existing and potential customers by phone, email, and in-person (for walk-in traffic/counter sales). § Preparing job quotes for door/frame/hardware packages. § Using computer system and software to supply information on price and availability. § Quote processing, follow-up with customer, and related customer service. § Contact manufacturers/vendors for placing orders, checking order lead-times, purchase order status, and product Information. § Follow-up on new customer leads to help in growing the local business. § Growth in product knowledge in the areas of mechanical door hardware, doors and frames, and electronic access control systems. Key Working Relationships: The successful candidate will report to the Director of Sales and Operations at IDN Door & Hardware in Livonia, MI. The individual will also collaborate closely with other staff members and with local Outside Sales representative(s). Requirements: § Must be self-driven, teachable, and hardworking. § 1 to 3 years Inside Sales/Customer Service experience preferred but not needed. § Verbal and written communication skills. § Ability to learn computer software for performing job function. § Organizational skills with an ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. § Ability to collaborate well with a Team to achieve common goals.
