Middle School Dean

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Plano, TX. The Middle School Dean plays a vital role in promoting a positive school culture and supporting students in their academic and personal development. Responsibilities include overseeing student behavior, implementing school policies, providing mentorship and guidance to students, and collaborating closely with teachers and other staff to maintain a safe and productive learning environment. The Dean is also responsible for communicating with parents, organizing school events, and addressing any issues that arise to ensure student success and well-being. Qualifications Proficiency in communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal relationship-buildingStrong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skillsAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including teachers, parents, and administrative staffExperience in educational policy implementation and student behavior managementPassion for working with middle school students and a commitment to their academic and personal growthBachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)Previous experience in a leadership or administrative role within an academic setting is strongly preferred3-5 years teaching experience Familiarity with charter school operations and cultural values is an asset
