This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, enjoys leading teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring products consistently meet customer and company quality standards.In this position, you will oversee daily quality activities on the production floor, support inspection and testing processes, and work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality concerns and improve manufacturing performance. Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programming, operation, and inspection processes is highly desired.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support quality technicians and inspectors within daily manufacturing operationsMonitor production quality and ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal standardsPerform and oversee dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment, including CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) systemsTroubleshoot quality-related production issues and collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement corrective actionsSupport root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiativesEnsure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and gaugesVerify first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections are completed accurately and on timeAssist in developing and maintaining quality documentation, procedures, control plans, and work instructionsEnsure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standardsQualifications35+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or quality supervisionStrong understanding of quality systems, inspection methods, and manufacturing processesExperience operating and/or programming CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, engineering drawings, and technical specificationsFamiliarity with precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical measurement systemsExperience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.)Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with quality documentation and reporting systemsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company that values quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
