Delivery Driver Class C

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. Load and unload products from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary. Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies encountered during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations. Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type. Familiarity with driving box trucks and other delivery vehicles is preferred. Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently. Proficient in operating forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks. Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles when required.
