This position requires collaboration across disciplines, proactive client engagement, and the ability to manage expectations both internally and externally.This is a growth-oriented role with the potential for advancement within the structural engineering team.ResponsibilitiesLead the development of construction documents, including structural drawings and specifications, ensuring adherence to engineering standardsManage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful deliveryCoordinate with internal teams and external partners to provide technical direction and supportServe as project manager, overseeing projects from concept through completionContribute to business development efforts, including proposal support and strategic inputProvide structural engineering expertise and technical support across disciplinesQualificationsEducation & LicensureBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasisProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license in Minnesota and/or North Dakota requiredCalifornia licensure preferred; additional state registrations are a plusExperienceDemonstrated ability to independently lead projects to completionExperience with seismic design, structural retrofits, and blast-resistant design is highly desirableCore SkillsStrong structural design experience across a variety of project typesProficiency in RISA, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; additional structural analysis software experience is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and assess structural impactsProven ability to build relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholdersExperience reviewing drawings and coordinating with drafting staff to ensure quality deliverables
