This position will assist in defining and executing the strategic vision and growth roadmap for Engineering Services, including serving as a capture manager and/or program manager within the Engineering Business Unit. The Senior Program Director is responsible for identifying, qualifying, proposing, and executing new work supporting the Department of Navy as well as other maritime organizations as applicable. This is a hybrid role at our Washington, DC office.\n\nResponsibilities:\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities -Growth & Strategic Operations\nDefine and execute the strategic vision and growth roadmap for Engineering Services by understanding maritime customer missions, emerging requirements, market trends, and business opportunities across Naval Acquisition Programs, including fleet sustainment, engineering, modernization, and readiness programs.\nBuild and maintain strategic relationships with government customers, industry partners, OEMs, shipyards, and key maritime stakeholders through active participation in industry forums, conferences, and professional associations.\nLead or support pipeline development, opportunity qualification, capture planning, proposal development, and cross-functional growth initiatives to achieve revenue and business objectives.\nMonitor customer priorities, competitive landscapes, acquisition strategies, and contract vehicle opportunities to identify and pursue new business opportunities.\nLead development of innovative engineering and technical solutions that leverage emerging technologies and industry best practices to address customer requirements and enhance maritime mission readiness.\nSupport mergers, partnerships, and strategic initiatives that expand VTG's maritime engineering, sustainment, logistics, and fleet readiness capabilities.\nCollaborate with business development, capture, operational, and technical teams to strengthen VTG's market position and drive sustainable growth across the maritime sector.\nQualifications:\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
