This is a Direct Hire role that will be worked in a hybrid schedule, with 3 days a week worked onsite, and 2 days a week worked remotely.\nResponsibilities:\nResearching advanced technology trends in area(s) of expertise\nIdentifying emerging trends and initiating research projects for team members\nDesigning innovative solutions using new technologies\nRecommending short-term alternatives when appropriate\nCreating prototypes and leading initial development and testing through to production\nDefining enterprise-wide scoped SLAs to ensure requirements are met or exceeded\nEscalating problems as required based on SLAs\nDeveloping client satisfaction and capacity planning metrics\nCoordinating assessment of emerging technologies typically as the lead subject matter expert\nEvaluating and recommending new projects or tools for the organization\nOverseeing cost benefit analysis and presenting options to management teams\nAssisting in the resolution of support issues escalated by senior operations or development personnel; providing technical expertise across business functions\nArticulating relationship between business and the data and technology that support the business; identifying opportunities to improve business processes via new technologies\nMaking recommendations and influencing long-term technology strategy and planning for multiple business units\nAssisting in development of RFPs and responses to new business opportunities\nActing as subject matter expert to various project teams\nDetermining dependencies and prerequisites; creating CRFs for assigned tasks and ensuring CRFs are approved in accordance with project timeline\nDefining production readiness and transition acceptance criteria and ensuring criteria are completed before new system implementation.\nRequired Skills/Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in IT discipline, preferred\nMinimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology\nMinimum 3 years of experience with design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting enterprise level WAN/LAN technology including Cisco ASR and ISR routers, Cisco Catalyst switches, and Nexus switches; experience with DCNM, VXLAN, ACI, OTV, and FabricPath preferred\nMinimum 3 years of experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting WAN protocols and technologies including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, DMVPN, VRF, and GRE/IPSec tunnels;
