In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading shipments, handling materials with care, and supporting smooth warehouse distribution processes. Your proactive approach and attention to safety will ensure that goods are moved accurately and securely, contributing to the overall success of our logistics team. This position offers a vital opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where teamwork and safety are top priorities.\n\n*Duties*\n\n* Load and unload shipments using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes\n* Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts and crane systems following OSHA standards and safety protocols\n* Assist with order picking and packing to prepare items for shipping or storage\n* Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting, ensuring proper techniques to prevent injury\n* Manage inventory by accurately scanning items with RF scanners and updating inventory records\n* Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment contents, inspecting for damages, and documenting discrepancies\n* Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety guidelines and warehouse procedures\n\n*Experience*\n\n* Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments preferred\n* Hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, or cranes is highly desirable\n* Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is a plus\n* Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation\n* Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and materials handling\n* Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments\n* Experience in shipping & receiving processes and order picking activities is advantageous\n* Prior supervisory experience in warehouse settings is a plus but not required\n\nJoin us to be part of a dedicated team committed to efficient operations, safety excellence, and continuous improvement.
