Onsite position\nShift: 1st\nPay: $85,000/year - $95, 000/year - (Depending on Experience)\nJOB PURPOSE:\nResponsible for all aspects of the assigned manufacturing process.\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\nTo implement, monitor, improve and troubleshoot the assigned manufacturing processes.\nKEY REPONSIBILITIES:\nThis role supports the companies Design Engineers as well as production support.\nEnsures processes are manufacturable with high quality and provide appropriate documentation and tools to the Operations team.\nImplements continuous process improvement projects focusing on cost reduction or output increase.\nCreate and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures.\nWorks with Operations to train shopfloor employees.\nWorks with facilities and maintenance team to identify and implement equipment upgrades.\nTroubleshoots, solves and documents process, performance and equipment issues.\nConducts RCCA investigations for manufacturing/process issues.\nWorks with Battery Design and Mechanical Engineering to transfer new designs from development to production.\nMonitors key performance indicators (KPIs).\nSupports the proposed battery design process to ensure manufacturability.\nOther duties as assigned\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):\nEffective written and verbal communication.\nAbility to collaborate with others.\nExcellent prioritization and time management skills.\nProficient in solving engineering problems through analysis, computational modelling, and building/testing of prototypes.\nExperience with PLC or similar equipment programming\nProficient in Microsoft Office\nCAD modelling a plus\nRequirements:\nEducation: B.S. in Engineering in a field related to the Process being supported, typically Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering\nExperience: 3-5 years in engineering or manufacturing environment.\nSix Sigma Certification and practical use a plus\nPay: $85,000.00 -
