The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our dairy products by conducting regular checks, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to established protocols. This is a 2nd shift position that involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality assessments, and contributing to the overall success of our quality assurance program.\nSchedule: 2nd Shift 2:00PM - 10:30PM Monday - Friday\nPay rate: Is DOE $22.00 - $24.00\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform routine quality checks on the production line at specified intervals (every half hour to an hour), ensuring that products meet established quality standards.\nConduct accurate and thorough documentation of quality control checks, recording data on parameters such as pH, temperature, and other relevant factors.\nMonitor product shelf life and track expiration dates to prevent the distribution of expired or subpar products.\nConduct pH checks and temperature measurements of products to verify their compliance with predetermined specifications.\nCollaborate with production teams to address and rectify any quality-related concerns in a timely manner.\nExecute walkthroughs of production facilities to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and hygiene standards.\nCollect environmental swabs as part of routine monitoring to assess cleanliness and sanitation levels within the production environment.\nAssist in the investigation of quality-related incidents or deviations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.\nMaintain a proactive approach to identifying potential quality issues and suggesting improvements to prevent their occurrence.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.\nSecondary Duties:\nConduct periodic checks on equipment and machinery to ensure they are operating within specified parameters.\nAssist in the implementation and enforcement of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) throughout the production process.\nPerform additional miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in science, biochemistry, food science, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience in the dairy or food industry.\nStrong understanding of quality control principles, food safety regulations, and quality assurance methodologies.\nProficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for quality assessments, including pH meters and temperature probes.\nExcellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organized records.\nStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively with different teams and articulate quality-related concerns.\nFlexibility to work a 2nd shift schedule (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm), with possible overtime based on workload demands.\nOpenness to adapt to changing production requirements and schedules.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation package\nHealth and wellness benefits\nOpportunities for professional growth and development\nPositive and collaborative work environment\nIf you are a motivated and proactive individual with a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards in dairy food production, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
