Marketing Event Coordinator

One of our Luxury clients is currently seeking an event coordinator for their NYC Office.The role is ongoing and they are looking for someone to start ASAP.Role is 4 days in office 1 day remote and pays $35/hr.JOB DETAILS: Sr. Coordinator Events and Client Development Responsibilities include:Oversight:GeneralInstrumental in providing support for the yearly marketing plan that identifies and outlines all activities to drive sales across channels Manage marketing calendars; Retail/Wholesale/Store Openings/Email Content/PromotionsResponsibility for the “traffic” of all collateral pieces to ensure all materials arrive on timeLiaison with accounting to track invoices, ensure they are in budget and paid in a timely mannerCoordinate retail & wholesale advertising plans, manage advertising budget, material requests and added valueInstrumental in developing events program to support retail and wholesale initiativesManage event calendar for retail and wholesale activitiesManagement of events budget to ensure it is respectedLiaison with accounting to track invoices, ensure they are in budget and paid in a timely mannerEnsure great working relationship with all depts & stakeholders including overseas HQ Advertising/Promotions/LRAEnsure media plan is revised on a monthly basisManage LRA and advertising budget and show aptitude for ensuring flexibility as business needs changeWork with production teams & overseas HQ from all local publications to ensure materials are supplied on timeLiaise with overseas office to request artwork; track artwork from overseas to magazine’s printerCoordination with local advertising for added value / marketing opportunitiesTrack efficiency of advertisingWork with overseas HQ to create robust monthly retail promotion calendar based on Global Omni-Channel calendarPartner with malls to maximize opportunities through their marketing channels, paid & organicExplore 3rd party partnerships to promote The Brand products Event/Activation Management:Identify groups for event partnerships to support retail and wholesale businessDevelop concept and execute grand opening events for new boutiquesIdentify and maintain relationship with event suppliers (catering, florist, modeling agencies hair / make up, production teams, av, receive estimates and negotiate rates) Execute in store selling eventsWork with buyers and store managers to understand commercial needsWork with modeling agencies, catering company, tailors, florist, audio / visual to ensure each element is secured and in line with brand Order / prepare gifts for guests if necessaryWork with charity and hostess to ensure / manage their role at eventWork with graphics designer, printer to create and ensure invitations are sent in timely mannerManage guest list and RSVPsLiaison with overseas office to communicate event concept, invitation copy, and event recapLiaison with the press office to organize samples for selling eventsWork with style office to propose looks and run of show for selling eventsDevelop metrics for events and track success (sales, new client acquisition, client conversion etc.)Develop a follow up plan to convert event clients to loyal clients in partnership with CRM teamDevelop concept and detailed timeline for each event Experience & Key Competencies:Bachelor’s degree required3-5+ years of work experience in marketing and events organization.Experience within the retail sector preferred.Ability to develop marketing plans, programs and promotional briefs.A passionate, energetic team oriented individual with strong analytical, interpersonal, creative and leadership skills.Experience of managing budgets and invoicingStrong track record in marketing automation, campaign management, demand generation, direct marketing and database marketing.Proven entrepreneurial and creative skills to think beyond traditional marketing approaches. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
