This position supports World Learning's Global Networks Team, including the U.S. Speaker Program and the Leaders Lead On-Demand Program. The Senior Program Coordinator role entails a more advanced involvement in the thematic aspects of programming, overall program management and coordination and meeting cooperative agreement requirements than the Program Coordinator position. The position requires knowledge of Global Networks programs and excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural, and organizational skills. The position may require occasional short-term travel to international or US locations.\nThe ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, work both independently and collaboratively, handle logistics and other arrangements with attention to detail, and communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of partners and stakeholders. An interest in working with people from other cultures, backgrounds, and abilities and a proactive, collaborative attitude are essential. This position provides an opportunity to engage with U.S. and international leaders in a range of fields, learn about key U.S. foreign policy issues, and help forge international partnerships.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nContribute to the successful implementation of in-person, virtual, and hybrid exchange programs in support of U.S. foreign policy goals;\nArrange program logistics, specifically booking travel, ground transportation, hotels, meeting space, and disbursement of per diem for the US Speaker Program;\nCoordinate with contracted visa service company to arrange participants' visas and passports as needed;\nAssist with financial aspects of program arrangements, including per diem requests and receipts, checks for vendors, and invoices, ensuring that all financial transactions are executed in compliance with accounting and procurement procedures and requirements;\nCommunicate with participants and the State Department on a daily basis to coordinate travel, obtain necessary documents, and provide required program information;\nDevelop prospective program calendars and itineraries and arrange professional appointments;\nWrite, prepare and disburse necessary program materials;\nPrepare and maintain program files and databases;\nAuthor program reports and other writing assignments;\nManage group travel when needed; and\nHandle other tasks as\nAs members of World Learning's staff, Senior Program Coordinators also have various opportunities for professional development, including skill-building workshops, shadowing sessions with internal and external entities, and brownbag lunches on various topics relevant to international education and exchange.\nREQUIREMENTS\nRequired Experience/Education:\nA bachelor's degree and one year of professional experience; or three years of relevant professional experience\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the location where this position is\nRequired Skills:\nExperience with successfully managing multiple tasks at the same time, while meeting deadlines;\nDemonstrated experience with organizing logistics for events or travel;\nStrong attention to detail, including in written work and financial tasks;\nEffective presentation and interpersonal skills;\nAn ability to problem-solve, work with responsibility, and make decisions in ambiguous situations;\nProficiency with technology platforms such as Microsoft 365 Suite, web conferencing platforms, and other cloud-based document management and online project management tools;\nFluency in written and spoken\nRequired Behaviors/Competencies:\nAct as a collaborative and resourceful team player;\nUnderstand how to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders;\nSupport a culture of continuous learning and improvement through diligent program monitoring, data tracking, and reflection to ensure strong outcomes;\nShow dedication to the organization's business development targets through ongoing program implementation and relationship building.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nInternational or intercultural experience is appreciated, as reflected in personal background or international work or study experience;\nExperience implementing S.
