This individual will be a key contributor in a fast-paced and highly acquisitive business. They will oversee the monthly closing process, manage a small team, and drive process improvements across the accounting function of the business.The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, experience in managing people, and the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment. This role will report directly into the Controller and will work very closely with organizational leadership. Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals Review and approve financial statements and supporting schedules Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and other departments to support business initiatives Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls Assist with external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed Support ad hoc projects, system implementations, and process optimization initiatives Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 8+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrior experience managing or mentoring staff Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAPCPA preferred but not required Advanced Excel skillsWhat We Offer:Competitive salary, commensurate with experience levelComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.)Opportunities for career growth in a growing organizationCollaborative work environmentPaid holidays and vacation timeOn-site fitness center and On-site golf simulator
