About the Opportunity:The Senior Director Data and Analytics leads the development and advancement of the enterprise business intelligence and analytics infrastructure. This role is responsible for setting strategy and overseeing BI assets and teams to ensure delivery of scalable, high-quality analytics across clinical, financial, and operational areas. The position requires collaboration across departments to translate business needs into effective data solutions that drive measurable organizational value. This leadership role is critical for maintaining compliance, data governance, and innovation within the BI environment.3. Responsibilities:• Develop and execute the BI strategy aligned with enterprise goals and healthcare regulations• Manage the full lifecycle of BI assets ensuring data quality, scalability, and performance• Lead the CI/CD framework for BI using Azure DevOps and Git, including version control and deployment processes• Collaborate with IT, DBAs, and data architecture teams on ETL, data modeling, security, and platform improvements• Act as senior BI liaison to business stakeholders, translating requirements and prioritizing analytics projects• Lead and mentor BI developers and analytics professionals, fostering technical standards and career development• Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards in line with HIPAA and audit requirements• Define and monitor success metrics for BI adoption and impact, driving continuous improvement• Evaluate and implement new BI capabilities while balancing innovation and platform stability• Ensure compliance with organizational information security policies and manage security incidents4. Requirements:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field• 10+ years of technical experience with Microsoft SQL Server, ETL, SQL dimensional modeling, OLAP cubes, and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik• Experience with database development tools including Visual Studio SQL Server Data Tools• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Git• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Visio, and Word• Analytical programming skills in R, Python, or SAS are a plus• 10+ years of non-technical experience in business analysis, project management, software development concepts, and team management• Experience collaborating with business, IT, and analytics teams in complex environments• Knowledge of healthcare clinical and business concepts, including claims reimbursement and care management, is preferred5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.6.
