This role focuses on manufacturing process engineering, continuous improvement, and process control for power distribution systems in a high‑technology manufacturing environment.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nIn your role as Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality outcomes. You work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering.\nOwn and sustain solid-state power-pulse module (SSPPM) manufacturing processes to ensure stable quality, yield, and throughput.\nMonitor and improve process performance using data analysis (yield trends, defect paretos, process capability/Cpk).\nApply statistical and structured problem‑solving methods (SPC, DOE, FMEA) to identify root causes, reduce variation, and ensure process capability.\nLead troubleshooting of complex electro‑mechanical system build and test issues; drive containment, corrective actions, and prevention of recurrence.\nPartner cross‑functionally with Quality, Production, and Design Engineering to resolve non‑conformances and improve product robustness.\nMaintain and continuously improve manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard work, and control plans.\nExecute change management activities (COs, TDNs) to ensure controlled and compliant process updates.\nIdentify and implement improvements to yield, cycle time, cost, and equipment performance using Lean manufacturing principles.\nSupport equipment optimization, tooling improvements, and preventive maintenance strategies.\nProvide hands‑on support in production and cleanroom environments to validate process changes and drive execution.\nTrain and support production personnel on system‑level assembly, integration, and test processes.\nOther duties as assigned; job description subject to change at any time\nEducation and Experience\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related Engineering field.\n5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in power distribution, electronics or precision electro-mechanical assemblies.\nExperience with statistical methods including SPC, DOE, FMEA, and process capability analysis.\nHands‑on experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing processes in a production environment.\nFamiliarity with documentation control, BOM structures, and change management processes.\nProficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab, Excel, or similar).\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with high‑voltage power systems, lithography, or complex hardware systems.\nLean Six Sigma certification or formal continuous improvement training.\nExperience with automated test systems and metrology equipment.\nSkills\nYou bring a passion for problem-solving and teamwork to the Manufacturing Engineer position.
