This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move, contribute to efficient logistics, and grow your career in commercial driving.DutiesSafely operate a range of commercial trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and mixers to transport materials efficiently.Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques or specialized equipment while adhering to safety protocols.Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical integrity and compliance with safety regulations.Drive in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies, maintaining a clean driving record at all times.Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge to handle various types of loads safely.Load and secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit; unload deliveries at designated sites promptly.Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other documentation required for compliance and operational efficiency.ExperienceProven experience as a commercial driver with a valid CDL license; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.Familiarity with operating heavy-duty trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, mixers, and flatbeds.Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs when needed.Prior delivery driver experience demonstrating reliable route management and customer service skills.Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes.Knowledge of load securing techniques for various truck types to ensure safety during transit.Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial vehicles.
