This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.\n\nMachine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nAssist in the BRUTS and press area doing bucket checks.\nEmptying of scrap turnings bins.\nRemoval of parts from machines.\nVisual inspection of parts.\nWill learn to use various measuring devices.\nWill learn to input data into the required SPC system.\nGeneral cleaning which requires mopping or wiping machines down, will have to work with coolant and oils.\n\nMachine Operator Requirements:\n\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.\nMust be able to lift, twist and bend as required.\nMust be able to stand in the same area or move around for 10 hours daily.\nFrequent reaching, lifting and pulling with both hands, must be able to go up stairs with buckets filled with casings.\nRequired to be able to read and write.\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMust be able to QPS and client screening process.\nPreferred 1-2 years in an industrial service but will be trained on the job.\n\nAbout us:\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
