We are currently seeking three CNC Programmer/ Applications Engineers to join our team, focusing on CNC Mill, Swiss Lathe, and Laser Etch operations.\n\nIn this role, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and verifying setup sheets and programs for CNC operations. You will serve as a key contributor in converting engineering designs into high-quality, precise components through process optimization, fixture design, and efficient programming.\n\nYour Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate and consistent documentation for all tasks, including maintenance logs, inspection sheets, and work orders.\nAnalyze engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T standards according to ASME Y14.5.\nUtilize CAD/CAM software to generate solid models, drawings, and toolpaths.\nIndependently manage the setup, troubleshooting, and optimization of programs to help ensure stable and repeatable production cycles.\nRefine and advance current CNC machining and inspection methodologies.\nApply expert troubleshooting techniques to address dimensional variation, process capability, workholding, machine performance, and chip control to help improve overall manufacturing efficiency.\nAct as the primary technical resource for Swiss machining, mentoring machinists and engineers on best practices and advanced strategies.\nVerify part counts and check for completed operation sign-offs before initiating any manufacturing tasks.\nConduct essential equipment maintenance checks prior to starting production.\nConfirm that all measuring tools are calibrated and in good working order before use.\nAdhere to established protocols to support product traceability and identification.\nReview all relevant specifications, drawings, and process instructions before beginning manufacturing.\nFollow all department-specific Standard Process Instructions.\nProvide reliable technical support to help the team produce close-tolerance components consistently.\nAddress and resolve quality issues related to machining processes.\nDevelop, verify, and adjust programs for all shop floor equipment.\nDesign and program workholding fixtures tailored to various production requirements.\nOptimize cutting tools, fixtures, and programs to help reduce overall component cycle times.\nMaintain and create process documentation for legacy product lines.\nInvestigate, test, and integrate new programming technologies, workholding, and cutting tools.\nVerify that all new CNC programs are designed to support efficient product flow throughout the facility.\nRequired Qualifications\nAn Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or equivalent professional experience is preferred.\nAt least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment using CNC equipment and CAD/CAM software, with Esprit/MasterCAM and Solidworks preferred;
