The ideal candidate will possess strong operational, design, and/or manufacturing experience in EO/IR and RF technologies and will lead the integration, maturation, and fielding of these standalone capabilities.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nTransitions high TRL demonstrated payloads into mature payload solutions for long-term mission capabilities across GA-ASI platforms\nMature prototype level payloads through manufacturable Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) with the ability to scale to high-rate production\nLead diverse multi-function engineering teams, meeting critical program milestones, and successfully executing programs within the defined cost and schedule.\nRepresents programs as the face of engineering ensures consistent and appropriate messaging to external customer stakeholders, PoR representatives across the DoD, industry partners, subcontracts, and Sr. internal/executive stakeholders.\nSupports engineering estimates and proposals in response to customer and leadership directives\nDevelops program plans, estimates, schedules and execute programs in accordance with those plans.\nPerform system analysis, trade studies, author technical white papers, and generate customer technical data packages.\nComplete, document, and present System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), and Critical Design Reviews (CDR).\nRepresent company at technical reviews, customer meetings and system level integrations\nSupports mission architecture implementations and designs.\nSupports payload compatibility with initiatives such as Open Architectures (OMS, FACE, CESMO, etc.), Autonomy & Artificial Intelligence, onboard fusion, track management, resource management, and Human Factor’s based HMI design.\nSupports the development of test plans and manage the integration, verification and validation new capabilities and technologies.\nSupports development of business/strategic objectives and system concept-of-operations within primary platform development program, strategic customer demonstrations, evaluation programs, and Contractor Owned Contractor Operated (COCO) efforts.\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\n\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD.
