Outside Sales Representative
The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations. ResponsibilitiesRepresents the company for the aftermarket sales (parts and service) of industrial equipment currently existing or being delivered to customers in a defined sales areaMaintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment and services offered by the dealershipMonitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordinglyMaintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales managementKnows and follows a defined sales processLogs calls and uses CRM dailyMaintains assigned company vehicles and equipmentAssists with the preparation and execution of customer calls and salesConducts equipment field inspectionsMonitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to managementAttends applicable sales training events/seminarsMaintain current knowledge of equipment values within the market affording the ability to evaluate properly for repair versus replace purposesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related fieldKnowledge of forklift operational practices preferred.2+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of successExperience in developing and executing territory sales strategiesStrong presentation, negotiation, and closing skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
