Your focus will be on learning the industry, mastering safety and regulatory standards, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective project execution. This role serves as a steppingstone to Level 2 project management responsibilities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Project Support\n\nAssist senior level PMs in scheduling meetings, appointments, and key milestones.\n\nPrepare, distribute, and maintain basic project documentation.\n\nMaintain organized project files and ensure data accuracy.\n\nManage project‑related communications, including emails and phone calls.\n\n2. Project Coordination\n\nCollaborate with senior PMs to develop simple project plans and budgets.\n\nSupport estimating by gathering data and performing basic takeoffs.\n\nTrack and oversee assigned project tasks, ensuring timely completion.\n\nCoordinate minor logistics, such as equipment reservations and site preparation.\n\n3. Documentation and Reporting\n\nMaintain and organize project documentation, including schedules and progress reports.\n\nGenerate basic reports on project status for stakeholders.\n\nEnsure adherence to company project management standards.\n\n4. Safety and Compliance\n\nFollow safety protocols and report any safety concerns to senior PMs.\n\nAssist in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.\n\n5. Communication\n\nBuild and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.\n\nAct as a point of contact for assigned tasks and issues during small projects.\n\n6. Additional Duties\n\nFlexibility to perform other assigned tasks to support the overall business objectives.\n\nRequirements (Education, Experience, Skills & Attributes)\n\n0-2 years of experience in project coordination or a related role.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.\n\nExperience in project estimating and familiarity with quoting and takeoff processes is highly desirable.\n\nBasic understanding of electrical drawings and specifications (training provided).\n\nExperience working on projects that involve cross‑functional teams.\n\nFamiliarity with the use of specialized project management or estimating software.\n\nFamiliarity with NEC standards and OSHA regulations.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nLift, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds repeatedly.\n\nClimb ladders, staircases, step stools, stand, walk, sit, and operate vehicles for extended periods.\n\nBend, stoop, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces for several hours.\n\nWork outdoors in varying weather conditions including intense heat/cold, muddy and wet environments.\n\nPerform precision tasks with instruments and fittings.\n\nCommunicate verbally and in writing.\n\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.\n\nTechPro Power Group is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
