Electrical Engineer (Electrical Engineer)
Leidos' Defense Systems RF Systems Portfolio is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team of engineers, analysts, and scientists supporting advanced radar system analysis in a high‑fidelity modeling and simulation environment. Our expertise is setup, test, and evaluation of radar system performance using modeling and simulation of modern air defense systems.

Primary Responsibilities
Modeling and Simulation testing and data analysis of radar systems
Analytical anchoring or tactical test data to M&S performance
General radar analysis and parametric studies
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or other technical degree from an ABET‑accredited institution plus 2‑4 years relevant demonstrated performance in M&S activities or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or other technical degree from an ABET‑accredited institution with less than 2 years relevant demonstrated performance in M&S activities
Must be proficient in programming (Python preferably, MATLAB, etc.)
Must be a US citizen, possess and able to maintain a DoD secret clearance or able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate to the North Alabama area.
Preferred Qualifications
Radar/Air Defense Systems M&S Experience
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or other technical degree from an ABET‑accredited institution
Experience working in a Linux operating environment
Opportunities to travel for system test events can present themselves, but no obligation to travel is present
