{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6b28bea5ab943a46366bfbe9","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6b28bea5ab943a46366bfbe9","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6b28bea5ab943a46366bfbe9","title":"Cloud Engineer","description":"Valiant is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team!\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for design, development, and implementation of Cloud solutions for globally available application.\nBackground in designing, implementing, and managing complex IT infrastructure centered around MS Windows products.\nUtilize experience with MS 365 solutions, and apply proven expertise in Failover Clustering, NetApp Storage solutions and Linux integration and optimization of cloud and on-premise environments.\nIn-depth knowledge of MS Windows Server operating systems, configuration management, and trouble-shooting.\nExpertise in designing failover clusters for high availability and disaster recovery.\nDemonstrated proficiency in NetApp Storage solutions, configuration, management, and optimization.\nLinux experience, with the ability o integrate and manage Linux systems within a Windows-centric environment.\nFamiliarity with MS356 solutions, including migration, configuration, and management of cloud services.\nExpertise in Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Openstack.\nStrong scripting skills in languages such as BASH, Python, and Ansible for automating tasks and workflows.\nExpertise with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.\nDraw on experience to meet requirements for resilient, durable, and scalable solutions.\nParticipate in planning, implementation and growth of Customer foundational footprint/capabilities.\nWork closely with the team of architects, software developers, and engineers to recommend and design database or data storage solutions that effectively reflect business needs, security and service level requirements.\nWork with application and architecture teams to conduct proof of concept (POC) and implement the design in production environment.\nWork with current application teams to understand our current applications and make migration recommendations and to-be architectures.\nAnalyze applications for data integrity issues. Work independently or as part of a small team to design, build, automate and document the/a multi-tiered managed service platform.\nWork independently or as part of a small team to build out automation in support of the managed services platform.\nWrite the required template documents, procedures, or guides associated with the respective managed services.\nAssist with the installation and configuration of a cloud management platform per the requirements of the respective services.\nAssist with technical documentation and/or training materials.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nCLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: TS/SCI with Poly\nEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: B.S. in Computer Science or related field\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n9+ years of relative experience.\n3+ years of cloud experience.\nAbility to effectively manage several projects simultaneously in a rapidly paced environment.\nExcellent knowledge of Customer's engineering development cycle and O&M processes.\nWilling to “go the extra mile” ensuring that time critical requirements are met.\nSelf-starter with ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team of very strong personalities in a very dynamic environment.\nHighly mission-oriented.\nExperience designing, developing, deploying, testing in Azure architecture.\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nKnowledge of CSFC\nKnowledge of Customer field environment\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.\nValiant Integrated Services is an employer who hires in accordance with applicable state and federal law.
