{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6b209c09658afa4891159781","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6b209c09658afa4891159781","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6b209c09658afa4891159781","title":"Data Engineer","description":"Essential Responsibilities:\r\nDesign, build, and maintain SQL-based data pipelines to support reliable data extraction, transformation, and loading across enterprise systems.\r\nDevelop, update, and optimize database objects (views, stored procedures, functions, indexes) to ensure high performance and data accuracy for reporting and analytics.\r\nCreate and maintain PowerBI datasets, models, and reports, ensuring data is accurate, refreshed appropriately, and presented in a user-friendly manner.\r\nBuild and support data integrations between internal and external systems using APIs, flat files, or integration tools, ensuring secure and timely data exchange.\r\nMonitor, trouble shoot, and document data workflows to ensure system reliability, resolve data quality issues, and provide ongoing operational support for reporting and analytics environments.\r\nEffective time management and organization skills to succeed in fast-paced environment\r\nWorks well as a member of a team\r\nCapable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well\r\nConsistently introduce new ideas and demonstrate original thinking\r\nOther duties as assigned\r\nQualifications\r\nMinimum 3 years' experience as a data engineer, business systems analyst or a similar role (Required)\r\nBS degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (Required)\r\nProficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and optimization.\r\nExperience with ETL tools, preferably SSIS (or equivalent such as Mulesoft or Azure Data Factory).\r\nKnowledge in SharePoint, Salesforce or similar CRMs, and Workflow software\r\nIntermediate to expert level Excel skills\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
