Job Description Position Overview:PM Design seeks an experienced Senior Job Captain to independently lead the execution of construction documents in Revit/ AutoCAD for commercial retail projects. As a Senior Job Captain, you will oversee project tasks and drawing packages from planning and permitting through construction administration. Responsibilities include coordinating consultants, producing code-compliant construction documents, and ensuring deliverables meet client objectives and PM Design's QA/QC standards.Experience with national rollout programs and sports projects would be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Independent execution of full CD SetsLead the coordination of sub-consultants, with a heavy emphasis on independently reading, reviewing, and integrating Structural and MEP engineering drawingsAct as a highly autonomous 'manager-doer,' taking full ownership of project timelines, jurisdictional interface, and construction administration with minimal daily oversightDay to day project management for national roll outsDevelop planning, permitting, and construction documents; review and enhance drawing qualityEnsure drawing sets meet QA/QC standards for code compliance, constructability, coordination, and presentationConduct site visits, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and generate punch listsTrack budgets, support bid processes, and contribute to project schedulesMentor CAD team members and delegate tasks as neededMaintain timely client communication and participate in project meetingsQualifications:Fluency in Revit and AutoCAD is requiredDeep working knowledge of the IBC, local building codes, and accessibility requirementsA highly resourceful, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, and fast-paced team structureExperience with national roll out projects for sports stores , commercial retail, restaurant, and tenant improvement projectsStrong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and ExcelCommitment to quality across all phases of project developmentCompensation & Benefits:We offer a competitive compensation package, robust benefits, and paid time off.
