SummaryIn the role of Auxiliary Technician, you will play a pivotal role by assisting in the installation, maintenance, & repair of garage doors, rolling doors, dock equipment, and related systems. Prior experience is preferred but not required, as we provide thorough on-the-job training. DutiesAssist with the installation of garage door products per manufacture specifications. Gather and prepare materials needed for install and service jobs. Maintain paperwork and records as necessary. Maintain safe, secure. and healthy work environment. RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid Drivers License. Must have an accepted MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy. Must have dependable & reliable transportation to and from your base office location. Preferred QualificationsExperience in garage door service/install or similar skilled trade. Basic knowledge of construction, hand tools, and/or electrical. Mechanical inclination Skills Willingness to learn Excellent attention to detail Customer service orientated mindset Adaptability to changing work environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Work ConditionsNon-climate-controlled environment will be working in all weather conditions. Frequently walking, standing, bending, climbing ladders, using lift equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
