The TSE will assist Rocket customers with questions and problems regarding the installation, setup, configuration and functionality of Rocket Software products. This person will troubleshoot reported symptoms to aid in the resolution process either directly for the customer or by helping to guide the development team in providing permanent solutions.\r\nResponsibilities Identify and complete tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment.\r\nEffectively and efficiently work with customers and partners to resolve reported problems.\r\nTrack all customer contact within approved tracking systems.\r\nQualifications BS degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.\r\n2+ years' experience working in an IBM z/OS environment as a Systems Programmer, DBA or Application Developer.\r\n1+ years' experience working with one or more z/OS database or application development platforms, such as CICS, IMS, ADABAS, IDMS or VSAM.\r\nExperience with JCL, ISPF and SMP/E.\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\r\nSolid analytical and troubleshooting skills, specifically dealing with IBM z/OS and TCP/IP.\r\nStrong customer service skills.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills.\r\nDesired Skills Knowledge of Web Services standards (SOAP, WSDL, WS-*), REST, Application Servers (WebSphere, Oracle), HTTP, SSL, HTTP/S, TCP protocols.\r\nKnowledge/experience with ODBC/JDBC.\r\nKnowledge/experience of DB2 utilities and DB2 stored procedures.\r\nKnowledge/experience of DB2 LUW.\r\nKnowledge/experience with Visual Studio .NET.\r\nKnowledge/experience in z/OS Cobol or Natural.\r\nKnowledge/experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.\r\nKnowledge/experience working with RACF, ACF2 or Top Secret.\r\nOperating systems: IBM z/OS, Windows, Red Hat Linux, Sun Solaris.\r\nKnowledge/experience with the following is a plus: IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (Replication and CDC) or Rocket Data Replication and Sync/tcVision.\r\nBenefits Unlimited Vacation Time as well as paid holidays and sick time.\r\nHealth and Wellness coverage options for Rocketeers and dependents.\r\nLife and disability coverage.\r\nFidelity 401(k) and Roth Retirement Savings with matching contributions.\r\nMonthly student debt benefit program.\r\nTuition Reimbursement and Certificate Reimbursement Program opportunities.\r\nLeadership and skills training opportunities.\r\nSalary Range Annual salary range for this position is between $57,500.00 and $77,625.00 gross before taxes.\r\nLI-Remote\r\nLI-JC1\r\nAccommodation Statement Rocket is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
