You will be working collaboratively with all teams in Reveal to define and execute the technical roadmap for Identifi, and our future Human Systems products.\r\nThis role might be for you if: You thrive in a fast paced collaborative engineering environment without extensive oversight.You have proven success owning features and products from concept through development, QA, release, and support.You have successfully built mobile apps on teams and solo with thousands of users.ResponsibilitiesDevelop native Android applications using Kotlin, including leading development of features for our Identifi biometrics product.\r\nOwn and maintain Reveal’s Human Systems suite of ATAK plugins and integrations with our core products.\r\nWork closely with SDK vendors to integrate functionality\r\nServe as the Android subject matter expert, guiding the engineering team on Android-specific projects and issues.\r\nAdvocate and drive user experience, security, and performance\r\nDrive engineering quality through sound architecture, code reviews, and collaborative development practices.\r\nAssist our business development and mission success teams with troubleshooting and technical issues\r\nRequirements8+ years of experience in Android development using native tools\r\nExpert familiarity with Kotlin and Java\r\nProven track record of contributing to or leveraging open source.\r\nSolid understanding of cryptographic and security principles.\r\nStrong ability to work autonomously in an asynchronous, fully remote environment.\r\nGrowth mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and improve existing codebases—even those written by others.\r\nNice to HavesStartup experience and comfort wearing multiple hats.\r\nExperience working as the sole developer on projects when necessary.\r\nCreative, proactive problem solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity.\r\nExperience developing Android or Java SDKs\r\nBackend or Web Development experience\r\nHands-on experience developing ATAK plugins\r\nExposure to biometrics capabilities and standards such as EBTS\r\nPast experience developing products for public safety or DoD applications\r\nFamiliarity with IPC/RPC frameworks such as gRPC\r\nUnderstanding of additional languages used at Reveal: Ruby, C++, C#, Python\r\nCompensationBase Salary ($150,000 - $185,000 depending on experience) + Equity\r\nSalary is determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.\r\nBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision coverage\r\nHSA/FSA options\r\nParental Leave\r\n401(k): 100% match for the first 6% contributed\r\nUnlimited Paid Time Off\r\nHome Office Stipend\r\nAbout Reveal TechnologyFounded in 2019, Reveal is a dynamic startup revolutionizing field operations by providing software tools and insights to individuals in remote, disconnected, and extreme environments.
