This role requires strong engineering judgment, practical field experience and proficiency with project controls and engineering tools to drive timely, compliant delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain and optimize project schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera P6; monitor progress and drive schedule recovery actions as required.\nManage project cost control and budgeting processes, produce forecasts, track expenditures and support financial reporting.\nCoordinate engineering deliverables: review and approve drawings (AutoCAD, Revit, P&ID), 3D models (Revit, SolidWorks, Creo) and BIM coordination activities.\nLead procurement and vendor management: prepare technical specifications, evaluate bids, oversee vendor performance and manage change control.\nSupport construction management and field execution: supervise fabrication, welding, installation, testing and commissioning activities; ensure alignment to design and quality standards.\nOversee commissioning, testing and validation programs including FAT/SAT, system integration (SCADA, PLC) and operational handover.\nPerform root cause analysis for technical issues, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and FMEA methodologies.\nImplement and maintain QA/QC processes and GD&T practices to ensure product and install quality; coordinate inspections and non-conformance resolution.\nManage BOM control and ERP coordination (SAP/Oracle) for material tracking, change management and project invoicing.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (ISO 9001), and enforce Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements on site and in design.\nCollaborate with structural, mechanical and electrical engineering teams on design review, materials selection, hydraulics/pneumatics and system integration.\nIdentify and manage project risks, maintain risk registers and implement mitigation strategies to protect schedule, cost and safety.\nQualifications\nBachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline); Masters or equivalent experience preferred.\n5+ years of project engineering experience in industrial, manufacturing or construction environments; proven track record delivering medium-to-large projects.\nDemonstrated proficiency with MS Project and/or Primavera P6 for scheduling and critical-path management.\nStrong experience in cost control, budgeting and forecasting for engineering projects.\nHands-on experience with engineering drawings and CAD/3D tools: AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks and/or Creo; familiarity with BIM workflows.\nExperience with P&ID development, SCADA/PLC systems, electrical and mechanical systems, and commissioning activities.\nKnowledge of fabrication, welding processes, procurement practices and vendor management.\nFamiliarity with QA/QC processes, GD&T, testing & validation, root cause analysis, FMEA and Lean/Six Sigma principles.\nExperience with BOM management and ERP systems (SAP and/or Oracle) for material and change control.\nSolid understanding of structural engineering principles, hydraulics/pneumatics and materials selection.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across site and office.\nProven ability to manage risk, change control and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and EHS standards.\nProfessional certifications such as PMP or PE are desirable; PLC programming, welding qualifications or Six Sigma certification a plus.\nBenefits\nCompetitive Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience)\nHealth, Medical, Dental Package\nProfit Sharing\nPlenty of PTO - you deserve work breaks!\nWork in Ohio on some awesome projects!\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
