If you’re outgoing, energetic, and friendly, and you bring a positive, can-do attitude, we’d love to connect with you.\nThis is a full-time position and weekend availability is required.\nAbout the Position\nAs our leasing associate, you will...\nShowcase properties to potential residents, respond to leasing inquiries promptly, and negotiate lease terms following established procedures.\nAssist with lease applications, verify resident eligibility, and prepare leasing documents.\nMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with property standards and housing regulations.\nEffectively market available units in appropriate channels representing accurate and engaging information using SDK marketing content.\nProactively initiate outreach plans.\nRegularly inspect the tour path and model units and inform property teams of any issues.\nStrive to deliver a one-stop experience and provide exceptional customer support to all residents by addressing their concerns and inquiries, and escalating issues when necessary. This includes answering calls, assisting walk-in visitors, responding to emails, and communicating concerns with relevant property team members to ensure timely resolutions.\nDevelop and maintain professional relationships with current and prospective residents.\nEnsure that all leasing representation in the assigned property or portfolio meets SDK standards, including but not limited to the way property tours are conducted, and how leasing inquiries are handled.\nStay informed about applicable laws and regulations and ensure all leasing activities comply with relevant legal requirements.\nCollaborate with team members to ensure all move-ins and move-outs are seamless.\nMaintain accurate, in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the property, particularly in rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage and the broader community.\nProvide support to the leasing or property manager with weekly reporting and other routine tasks.\nPerform other related duties proactively.\nAbout Your Professional Background & Skills\nA minimum of 1 year of multifamily leasing experience.\nExceptional presentation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.\nHigh emotional intelligence with a welcoming demeanor.\nStrong organization, attention to detail, multi-tasking and follow through skills.\nThrives in fast-paced environments and has the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.\nAdaptable to changing work schedules and ability to work weekends and some holidays.\nProficient in MSOffice and RealPage Onesite.\nBilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!\nMust have reliable transportation and a valid license.\nMust be able to work with any employer in the US without any restrictions whatsoever.\nAbout Us, Pay, Benefits & Culture\nSDK ApartmentsSM is a real estate investment, development and property management group with an established portfolio of residential communities and commercial properties across multiple states.\nSDK’s tradition of giving back to the community extends to the way we care for our residents and employees.
