Our organization is growing, and we believe your career should too.\nProject Overview:\nProject Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced, full- time Construction Management Representative for the replacement of the existing wastewater treatment plant at Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park, including new piping, a holding tank, and related site and utility work.\nIt is a multi-year construction effort expected to take place over several construction seasons due to the project’s scale and remote location. The role is to serve as an on-site Construction Manager Representative (CMR), providing construction management support such as monitoring work, reviewing documents, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.\nThis role is contingent upon award of project.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nObserve and monitor construction activities to ensure work is performed in accordance with contract requirements and quality standard\nDocument daily field activities, including material deliveries, work progress, and deficiencies, and prepare regular reports\nReview and analyze project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, schedules, payrolls, payment requests, and as-built drawings\nVerify construction work and materials, ensuring they meet contract specifications before and during installation\nMonitor construction quality and safety compliance, and report accidents or issues to the Government\nFacilitate and lead meetings, including weekly progress meetings, and prepare agendas and meeting minutes\nCoordinate and document inspections, including preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections\nReview construction schedules and updates, including Time Impact Analyses and recovery plans\nPerform or support cost estimating and proposal evaluations, including preparation of Independent Government Estimates\nSupport contract administration and negotiations, including scope development, field investigations, and documentation of negotiations\nMaintain and organize project records, including contract documents, reports, change orders, and closeout documentation\nCommunicate with Government representatives (COR/CO) on technical issues and project status while not directing the construction contractor\nRequired Education, Skills, and Abilities:\nEducation/Certification:\nMinimum of a four-year Bachelor’s degree in either one of these- Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management or a related field\nDegree must be from an ABET-accredited engineering college or university\nOSHA 30-hour Construction Safety training (required)\nConstruction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification (required)\nExperience:\nMinimum of five (5) years of relevant construction and/or engineering experience demonstrating knowledge of construction-related activities\nExperience in construction management and project coordination, including documentation and communication across stakeholders\nProven ability in ensuring compliance with contract documents, including reviewing requirements and verifying adherence during construction\nExperience with inspection and verification of construction work, including reviewing as-built drawings and validating installed work\nExperience reviewing payment invoices and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness\nDemonstrated experience in leading and facilitating meetings, including progress meetings and general coordination sessions\nExperience in cost estimating and proposal analysis, including use of industry-standard estimating tools and preparation of independent cost estimates\nExperience in schedule review and analysis, including baseline schedules, progress updates, Time Impact Analyses (TIA), and recovery schedules using tools like Primavera or Microsoft Project\nExperience working on projects of similar scope and complexity, including wastewater treatment plants, remote projects, and projects involving coordination with federal government personnel (PMs, COs, CORs)\nKey Attributes & Skills:\nStrong construction management knowledge, including understanding of construction processes, quality control, and project execution\nEffective communication and coordination skills for interacting with Government representatives and facilitating meetings\nAbility to interpret and apply contract documents, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements\nInspection and observation skills to verify construction work, identify deficiencies, and ensure adherence to plans\nProficiency in cost estimating and analysis, including preparation of independent government estimates using industry-standard tools\nStrong schedule analysis capabilities, including reviewing baseline schedules, updates, Time Impact Analyses (TIA), and recovery plans\nComputer literacy and software
