The Network Operations Analytics Engineer at MacDill AFB, FL supports the Global Solutions Management–Operations II (GSM-O II) and Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE). The JCSE team provides en‑route, early entry, scalable C5 support to Regional Combatant Commands, Special Operations Command, and other agencies.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nDevelop and implement data collection methods: Establish and execute processes to systematically collect key performance metrics throughout each supported mission. Champion operational procedures that improve data quality and collaborate with vendors to enhance existing tools.\n\nConduct mission reporting: Independently refine customer reporting requirements and develop detailed mission reports that support operational objectives.\n\nAnalyze ticket management data: Produce reports on trouble tickets, including creation, response, and resolution times, while identifying trends and categorizing issues to improve operational performance.\n\nMonitor network performance: Analyze bandwidth utilization, including peak and average consumption, and evaluate network performance throughout the mission lifecycle.\n\nDevelop process documentation: Create and deliver comprehensive documentation of approved processes and procedures, establishing a repeatable framework for future mission support.\n\nProvide stakeholder engagement: Present recommendations, reporting, and technical findings to senior Government and military leadership to support operational decision‑making.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ce, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.)\n\nCCNA highly desired\n\nExperience with network management platforms and ticketing systems\n\nDatabase experience\n\nEducation: BS Degree and 8‑12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6‑10 years of relevant experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\nClearance: Secret\n\nU.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.\n\nPay Range: $92,300.00 – $166,850.00.
