Events & Media Assistant

Here’s What You’ll Be DoingSupport planning, scheduling, logistics, and on-site execution of PCC eventsManage the PCC events calendar, bookings, requests, tours, and field tripsCoordinate communication with FCPC departments and external partners preparing and distributing assignments and schedules for events.Update event-related links, forms, and information across PCC platformsCreate, capture, and post content to support PCC social media and communicationsComplete and track media and graphic design requestsAssist with post-event documentation, analytics, organization, and improvementsSupport departmental needs, including newsletters and Summer Youth EmployeesWhat You’ll Need To Be SuccessfulAssociate's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; or 4 years of equivalent experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office and event management softwareExperience with social media platforms, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud 1-2 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, social media management, or relatedAbility to work some evenings and weekends as needed for eventsStrong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with staff and community members Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screensPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field3+ years of experience in event planning and/or media coordinationMust have a valid, clean driver’s license and be at least 18 years of ageBenefits You’ll LoveApproximately 5 weeks of paid time off annually3 weeks of paid holidaysPremium free health insuranceFlexible spending accountsShort term disabilityLife insurance401k with match
