Commonpoint provides a continuum of social, recreational, and educational services for children, families and adults. For over two generations, Commonpoint, with two main locations in Little Neck and Forest Hills, Queens, has been a special place for thousands of families, older adults, children and individuals who participate in its parenting, preschool, after-school, cultural arts, camping, health and fitness, social services, and senior programming.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:\nComplete all data entry for the summer and after school program (DYCD Connect, compliance files, etc.).\nEnsure proper implementation of program by team.\nDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with staff, youth, parents, and school.\nImplementation of program activities and scheduling.\nSupporting the Director in completion of evaluation reports on a timely basis.\nMaintain professional files on all staff for Department of Health review.\nOrder, manage and keep track of all program supplies and food/snack deliveries.\nKeep organized computer records of all finances, registrations and program related information.\nAttend staff meetings and professional development trainings.\nSuperior leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and support members of a team.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n(Preferred but not required): Bachelorʼs Degree in Education, Social Work or other relevant subject.\nPrior data management & customer service experience.\nExperience working with youth in an educational setting.\nPrior management experience.\nWillingness to submit to and pass criminal, child protection, and sexual registry background check.\n\nJob Details:\nLocation: 1970 West Farms Road, Bronx, NY, 10460.\nHourly Rate: $23.00/hr - $25.00/hr.\nNon-Union Position.\n\nHow to Apply:\nInterested candidates are invited to submit their resume and cover letter to Karen Larose at klarose@commonpoint.org.
