We offer opportunities for advancement after 6 months of successful service!\nRead on to learn more!\nAbout the Role\nAs a Control Systems Technician, you will focus on operational performance by troubleshooting and maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras and SCADA devices/programs.\nWhat You’ll Do\nManage material handling control systems, industrial, motor control systems, servo and frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems.\nMonitor MHE metrics and partner with Controls Technicians and Mechanics to resolve equipment electrical problems that create performance deficiencies.\nUse operation system assessment reports to improve material handling system reliability through preventive maintenance tasks completion and identification of deficiency repairs.\nCommunicate technical issues to site and operations leadership.\nCultivate positive working relationships with Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering (RME) business partners and Operations Maintenance team members.\nPromote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in US or Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).\nExperience working with Motor Controls (motor starts, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components).\nExperience working with repair of control network components.\n1+ years of experience working with HMI components.\n1+ years of experience working with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.\n1+ years of experience with Industrial and electrical troubleshooting.\nPhysical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate degree in electronic technology (or similar field).\n2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Control Systems troubleshooting/ programming.\nExperience supporting a range of different conveyors and sortation systems.\nExperience with robotic maintenance.\nExperience with AB RS LOGIX 5000 PLC’s and PLC components.\nExperience with SCADA systems and KPI’s.\nCBRE Employee Benefits\nComprehensive medical, dental, vision\nDisability benefit program\n401k company matching\nPaid time off and holidays\nCompany paid life insurance\nPet insurance\nPaid parental leave\nWhy CBRE?\nWe invest in our employees’ development.
