Concrete Finisher Form Setter

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Laborer and Finisher, where you'll play a vital role in transforming blueprints into durable, high-quality concrete structures. Responsibilities Prepare and set up forms, rebar, and reinforcement materials according to schematics and blueprints for concrete placement. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate pouring operations. Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds to achieve smooth finishes. Install rebar and metal studs accurately to reinforce concrete structures in compliance with construction plans. Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project requirements for concrete forming, masonry, stucco, or restoration tasks. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety protocols on-site. Conduct finishing tasks including caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, flooring installation, and plastering as needed for project completion. Assist with demolition or renovation work by applying masonry skills or metal welding when required. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout each shift. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete finishing techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, concrete mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately. Familiarity with rebar installation, form building, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing basics, and masonry work. Strong understanding of safety procedures including heavy lifting practices and proper use of hand tools and power tools. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding as needed. Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site mobility. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required.
