You will work on complex projects that involve integrating multiple systems, giving you hands-on experience with modern web development strategies and techniques. This position is designed to foster your skills through mentorship, training, and direct involvement in real-world applications.\n\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nContribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software web applications that support the 5th Space Launch Squadron.\nWork alongside senior engineers to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for new and existing applications.\nParticipate in software requirement reviews, design sessions, and agile development ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning).\nAssist in testing and debugging applications to ensure they meet quality standards.\nHelp create user documentation and provide support to end-users.\nEmbrace collaborative work, including pair programming, to solve complex problems and learn best practices.\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline.\nFoundational knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., C#, Python, Java).\nFamiliarity with web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\nAbility to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification within 6 months of hire (company sponsored).\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAcademic or internship experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., VueJS, Angular).\nFamiliarity with version control systems like Git.\nKnowledge of database concepts (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).\nExperience with C#, the .NET framework, and Visual Studio.\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, and cloud-hosted applications.\nClearance Requirements:\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. A clearance is not required to start.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers.
