This role supports manufacturing processes by implementing quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 aerospace quality management standard and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.\nRequirements:\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures for aerospace manufacturing.\nEnsure compliance with AS9100 aerospace quality management standard, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements.\nConduct internal audits and support external audits (customer, regulatory, and certification bodies).\nLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using tools like 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams.\nReview engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions for quality requirements.\nCollaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.\nMonitor and analyze quality performance metrics (scrap, rework, defects, yield).\nSupport supplier quality activities including qualification, audits, and performance monitoring.\nParticipate in First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 first article inspection standard.\nEnsure proper documentation and traceability of materials and processes.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.\n2–5+ years of quality engineering experience in aerospace or manufacturing.\nStrong knowledge of AS9100 aerospace quality management standard and aerospace regulatory requirements.\nExperience with inspection tools, GD&T, and blueprint reading.\nFamiliarity with statistical analysis and quality tools (SPC, Minitab, etc.).\nASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) preferred.\nForesight Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
