We seek a proactive individual with expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity, and information technology. Candidates located in the DMV will be prioritized.\n*A Secret Clearance is required for this position.*\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain Zero Trust security architecture, aligning with best practices and regulations.\nDesign comprehensive security solutions covering identity, network, application, and data protection.\nOffer expert guidance on Zero Trust trends and best practices.\nImplement Zero Trust principles organization-wide.\nIntegrate IAM, MFA, micro-segmentation, and endpoint security solutions.\nCollaborate with IT and security teams for smooth solution integration.\nEvaluate, select, and manage Zero Trust tools, including IAM (e.g., Okta, Azure AD), MFA (e.g., Duo), network security (e.g., Zscaler), and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike).\nDevelop and enforce Zero Trust-aligned security policies.\nPerform regular audits and security assessments.\nCreate architectural diagrams and SOP documentation.\nWork with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to embed security.\nLead security projects focused on identity, access management, and segmentation.\nProvide training on Zero Trust principles.\nStay current with security trends and threats.\nRegularly assess risks and refine the Zero Trust architecture.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.\n5 Years of experience in network architecture, cybersecurity and information technology.\nDemonstrated experience implementing cybersecurity solutions, network architecture, and Zero Trust principles.\nStrong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption technologies.\nExperience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions and multi-factor authentication (MFA).\nFamiliarity with cloud security and hybrid environments.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.\nPreferred Certifications:\nCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)\nCertified Information Security Manager (CISM)\nCertified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)\nBenefits\nJoining Avint is a win-win proposition!
