Interact and interview all levels of management.\n\nJob Duties\n\nUnderstands the basic principles, theories and concepts related to the profession and learns how to apply them within the ERCOT culture.\n\nFollows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.\n\nContributes to specific objectives and outcomes as directed.\n\nAdditional Job Duties\n\nConduct audits with all levels of management and staff throughout the organization.\n\nIdentifies risks within each audit area.\n\nDevelops an audit program with specific testing criteria to evaluate risks and controls within the audit area.\n\nRecommends improvements in procedures, processes and operations across the organization.\n\nDrafts and issues reports and other formal communications on the results of each audit.\n\nExperience\n\nRequires minimum 2 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements.\n\nRequires minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in auditing.\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field is required.\n\nOr a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required.\n\nCertification\n\nCIA Certified Internal Auditor (Preferred).\n\nCPA Certified Public Accountant (Preferred).\n\nCISA Certified Information Systems Auditor (Preferred).\n\nWork Location\n\nTaylor, TX office 2 days a week.\n\nExpected Salary Range\n$74,000 - $102,000\n\nThe foregoing description reflects the minimum qualifications and the essential functions of the position that must be performed proficiently with or without reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities.
