Delivering quality products on-time, Altek is certified to AS9100D, our operators are certified to IPC-610, IPC-620 and J-STD, and we are ITAR compliant.We have positions available on our afternoon and weekend shifts. Mon - Fri 12pm 8:30pm and Fri - Mon 6 am - 4:30 pm. Overtime may be available and/or required during busy periods. A 10% shift differential is offered for the afternoon shift.Please indicate in your notes which schedule you are interested in.SummaryResponsible for providing leadership and organizing the flow of work of their area.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure that operators complete job duties on time while maintaining a steady flow of workSupport and champion CFM and lean manufacturing methodologies.Facilitate the training of employees per Altek's training requirementsMaintain and update the Takt board as necessaryReview and understand the production/shipping schedule(s)Provide guidance and instruction to operators to improve competenceSchedule, conduct, & document meetings with line operators at least twice per weekPerform all normal job functions/duties of your areaResponsible for understanding & following company, and or manufacturing guidelines/proceduresResponsible for product quality as defined by internal and external customers, work instructions, specifications and proceduresResponsible for following established safety rules & 6SMonitor associates' productivity and make adjustments as needed to improve throughputInform supervisors of any existing and/or potential employee issuesKnowledge and Skill RequirementsAbility to provide directionStrong organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lead in a team environment with minimal supervisionEducation and/or ExperienceMust have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Working ConditionsWorking conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
