Duties include prioritizing loads of different types of kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher, and placing dishes to dry.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nWashes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.\nCorrectly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.\nStocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.\nCleans trash receptacles with water or steam.\nMoves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.\nMay assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.\nEnsures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\n\nCompetencies and Skills\n\nCollaboration Skills.\nFlexibility\nStress Management/Composure\nMulti-task oriented.\nOrganizational Skills\nExcellent communication skills (including asking for clarification on tasks, policies, and procedures).\nKnowledge of workplace safety procedures\nMust have a good command of the English language, both oral and written.\nMust be attentive.\nMust report to work when scheduled and on time with a positive attitude.\nAbility to work varied hours/days as business dictates.\nMust complete ServSafe Food Handler training.\n\nSupervisory Responsibility\n\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nWork Environment\n\nThis job operates in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, steamer, mixer, and chef’s knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, and fire. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls, and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.\n\nPhysical Demands\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
