For this position, we are seeking an exceedingly ambitious apprentice to be trained for the role of Boilermaker. To be successful as an apprentice, you must have great customer service skills as well as a drive for high-quality results. Outstanding apprentices are those who are quick-learners, excellent communicators and take pride in representing themselves and Blake in the most professional way.\nResponsibilities:\nActively participate in a variety of training and educational opportunities with interim assessments.\nAssist within the department, developing new skills and capabilities within the Thermal Energy and Manufacturers Representative industry.\nObserve and adhere to all safety procedures.\nComplete all assessments, presentations, and other required evaluations of an apprentice.\nKeep an open mind when receiving feedback and constructive criticism.\nCommunication with manager and colleagues on a day to day basis.\nTravel to a variety of jobsites, including but not limited to commercial and industrial settings.\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nMust maintain a valid Driver's License to drive rental vehiclesbe able to pass a DOT physical for driving fleet vehicles as required. A CDL is not required.\nMaintain company provided equipment, tools, and/or fleet vehicle as per company policy.\nPossess a can-do attitude when approaching new and exciting challenges.\nAbility to multitask.\nAttention to detail.\nMust be at least 18 years old.\nPass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.\nSkilled with computers/systems.
