We are deeply committed to fostering meaningful connection, lifelong learning, spiritual growth, and inclusive community engagement. Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and mission-driven Executive Administrative Assistant to support senior leadership at Temple Beth El. This role supports the executive team and helps make sure communication and coordination run smoothly across staff, congregants, board members, and community partners. The ideal candidate is a skilled multitasker, a natural problem-solver, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment. You will manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings and events, maintain organized files and documentation, support communications, and help ensure priorities are tracked and executed efficiently. This is a highly visible role that requires professionalism, discretion, warmth, and a strong service mindset aligned with our congregational values. What You Will DoProvide high-level administrative support to executive leadershipManage complex calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordinationServe as a liaison between executives, staff, congregants, and community stakeholdersDraft, edit, and manage correspondence, reports, and presentationsCoordinate logistics for meetings, board sessions, committee work, and synagogue eventsTrack priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure timely executionAnticipate needs and proactively resolve scheduling or operational challengesSupport congregational communications and engagement as neededMaintain organized records, files, and documentation systemsUse Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to track data, schedules, and projectsEnsure a welcoming, responsive, and professional experience for all interactionsWhat We Are Looking ForExperience in executive or administrative support rolesStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesHigh attention to detail and strong follow-throughProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel requiredAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentProfessional discretion with confidential informationStrong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindsetExperience in nonprofit or membership organizations is a plusAssociate or bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma requiredWhy Join UsAt TBE, you will be part of a meaningful mission-driven organization that values community, connection, and service.
