This is a full-time position offering competitive salary and benefits.\nBasic Job Duties for Drafting Engineer:\n· Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.\n· Work closely with engineers and production and maintenance superintendents to develop accurate technical drawings that meet project specifications.\n· Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical data to prepare detailed drawings.\n· Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and engineering requirements.\n· Maintain drawing files, revision history, and project documentation.\n· Identify potential design or operational issues and collaborate with the engineering team to develop practical solutions.\n· Calculate material dimensions, quantities, weight limitations, and other project requirements.\n· Provide drafting and technical support during manufacturing, construction, and installation phases.\n· Perform other duties as assigned.\nJob Requirements for Drafting Engineer:\n· Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\n· Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other industry-standard CAD software.\n· Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical drawing standards.\n· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\n· Strong verbal and written communication skills.\n· Solid mathematical skills, including geometry and trigonometry.\n· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.\n· Experience in mining, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environments is preferred.\n· Valid driver’s license.\n· Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.\nPhysical Requirements for Drafting Engineer:\n· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.\n· Ability to use a computer and CAD software for prolonged periods.\n· Ability to occasionally walk through industrial and mining environments.\n· Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while on-site.\n· Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.\nSafety:\nAll duties and responsibilities must be conducted in a safe, clean, and productive manner.
