In this role, you will be responsible for providing software-level support, automation, deployment, and technical troubleshooting for strategic customers, including on-site support when required.\nYou will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth server and data center deployments, drive root cause analysis for software and system issues, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\nPerform system-level software validation, deployment, and testing for strategic customers, including functional, stress, regression, and automation scripting for server environments.\nProvide technical support for strategic customer issues by performing root cause analysis, driving resolution, and ensuring clear internal coordination and timely communication.\nSupport on-site deployment and validation activities at customer data centers, requiring travel to customer sites as needed.\nLead or participate in failure analysis for critical issues and prepare 8D reports, clearly documenting root causes, corrective actions, and preventive measures.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive test plans, deployment procedures, automation scripts, evaluation reports, and customer status dashboards.\nParticipate in customer and internal issue review meetings, providing technical updates and recommendations.\nSupport global team collaboration to maintain continuous coverage and timely response for high-priority projects across time zones.\nEnforce software and system quality standards while identifying opportunities to improve deployment processes, automation, and support efficiency.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\n6+ years of experience in software engineering, systems deployment, automation, or technical support, preferably with data center or server industry experience.\nProven experience in data center operations, server deployment, and troubleshooting.\nStrong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).\nSolid understanding of networking, server hardware, virtualization, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under pressure.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or on-call support.\nAbility and willingness to travel for on-site customer support when required.\nExperience with on-site deployment support or customer data center environments is highly desirable.\nSolid understanding of validation methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking processes.\nExcellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\nSalary Range\n$160,000 - $200,000\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
